Visually this lounger is lovely and could be an original . The seat is a bit firmer than the original but I suspect it needs to break in as my lounger is only 2 weeks old. I cannot comment on the longevity but hopefully it should be good. The Xl size availability is a godsend as I am over six foot tall and like seating with decent n head and support.

I had never heard of this company before I used ChatGPT to find me a few reliable Eames Chair sellers in the UK. Luxe Furnishes came up. I wanted one for my new house so took the plunge and went with them. I'd buy another from them if I needed it. They confirmed the order via WhatsApp and email. It was shipped a week later. They had good customer service. They used DPD and provided tracking numbers. It was very easy to put together. You will need a second person to hold the back top half of the chair while your screw it in but the rest can be done on your own. It is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in and I now take every opportunity to do so.

I love my new chair. It was more than I wanted to spend but I am very glad I did. Very comfortable and well built chair. Packaged very well and easy to assemble. I am considering getting another so I don’t have to share.

The chair that arrived was great.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond their control they could not complete the whole order.
A prompt refund was made on the remaining part.

After initially being unsure of ordering such an expensive item from a company I had not heard of, I could not be happier! Before I placed my order, the sales team answered a couple of delivery questions over email very promptly which was reassuring, and placing the order online was simple. Delivery was quoted as 3-5 days, but after placing the order late on the Monday evening, it had arrived by lunchtime on the Wednesday?!? Delivery was made via DPD courier who kept me up to date with delivery tracking via the app so I was able to make sure I was home to take delivery. The chair itself is superb, I have been wanting an Eames lounge chair for such a long time and could not be happier. Assembly is a two person job but is very easy. I will shop Luxe Furnishes again 100%.Thank you!

One tip for assembling the chair do not fully tighten the bolts in the metal plate they will need to be a little loose in order to get all of the holes to align.

We have now bought 3 of these chairs and absolutely love them. Great quality and quick delivery. Would highly recommend this company.
